Tuan Haji Lukhman holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Paisley University (UK). He then worked with leading automobile vendors like Ford Motors, Nissan Tan Chong, BMW Auto Bavaria, Europel and others.

He now is an advisor to Roviski and is active in politics and social community services in Kelantan.

In pursuit of life long learning he graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma from Keele University (UK) and possess the Certified Strategic Advisor award from USA. He believes in upskilling Malaysian managers and entrepreneurs in their search for professional excellence.

Tuan Haji Lukhman has served as Chairman of IGM Academy since 2010,where he oversees its strategic direction and corporate governance.

Principal Director

Dr. Oliver Ho has over 35 years of business experience in senior management in industries such as information technology, consumer banking, merchant banking and the delivery of life-long learning courses and in providing corporate consultancy services.

Dr. Ho is a Master Trainer for Passionworks™ from Canada and also Creatrix™ , Innovation Igniter® and Certified Strategic Advisor® from USA, His forte is in areas of creative disruptive innovation, business model generation, blue ocean leadership, marketing and entrepreneurship.

He currently is Principal of IGM Academy which provides life long learning courses and was the Principal of its predecessor IGM College from 1997 until 2016.

He also was a Vice President at Rothschild Bank and had worked in senior management at Standard Chartered Bank, Mirabaud & Cie and the at Idris Hydraulic Group of companies.

Dr. Ho has trained over 5,000 people in Blue Ocean Strategy; he spearheaded the 1st Customer Care survey for the Institute of Bankers Malaysia in the mid 90s; taught Asia Pacific Business at MBA level at Keele University; delivered papers at International business conferences in Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and in other countries.

Dr. Ho is a former Chairman of the Institute of Marketing Malaysia & served on the committee from 1988-2003; was treasurer of Malaysian Computer Confederation Malaysia in the 80s and was Examiner for Chartered Institute of Bankers Malaysia till 2004. He was the former Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) Hon. Liaison Officer in Malaysia till 1997. He holds a post-graduate degree from Hull University (UK) and once taught at MBA level for Keele University (UK) in Malaysia till 2006. Today he spearheads the Certified Professional Manager program from CCPC Canada from 2016

Currently he is a member to Women Institute of Management’s Membership Committee. Oliver coauthored a new book entitled: Mastering Innovative Customer Relationship Strategy with Dr Jarmo Lehtinen, published by Prentice Hall in 2014. He authored the book Sales Management published by Times; which sole over 9,000, He also wrote the 1st Unit Trust Manual in Malaysia.

Director Business Development

Betsy graduated in Finance through the London Chamber of Commerce International, after which she joined Daihatsu Malaysia and the Royal Selangor Golf Club where she rose to serve as the club’s Deputy Treasurer.
She also has a Diploma in Marketing Management and later qualified as a Certified Strategic Advisor. She joined IGM Academy in 1994 and rose to become its Director in charge of Finance and head Special Projects Development. She also oversees IGM Academy’s external liaison with professional bodies such as CIMA (UK), British Institute Resources Development (BIRD) and Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC).

Consultant & Advisors

Datuk Maruan joined IGM Academy in 2015 as our Senior Adviser and Coach. He is an accredited Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia, holds an MBA degree from Henley Business School and has served in leading roles as CEO/COO in several corporations.

He last was Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategic Investment at the NAZA World Group. Before that, he was Senior Vice President for NAZA 4-Wheel Motor Division. Maruan joined NAZA World Group as Chief Operating Officer of NAZA Quest Sdn Bhd, where he was responsible for its Chevrolet operation in Malaysia.

Before NAZA, Datuk Maruan was a consultant in automotive retailing in Syria and before that, he served for three years at Golden Pharos Berhad, a wood-based company. Even earlier, Datuk Maruan served with the PROTON Group for over 22 years in various capacities, including Production Engineering, Corporate Planning and Distribution. His last position at PROTON Group was as Chief Executive Officer of PROTON Edar Sdn Bhd, its distribution subsidiary.

Datuk Maruan has trained corporate executives and managers in many organisations in areas of Quality Management, Strategic Planning and Operational Management, including PROTON Edar dealers and the Golden Pharos management team.

Haji Rali bin Mohd. Nor joined IGM Academy as an Adviser and Coach in 2015. He is an experienced corporate leader with 35 experience working for GLCs. He holds an MBA in Finance from Brunei University, an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Management Consultancy from Reading University, a Diploma from the Malaysian Institute of Management and a Diploma in Islamic Law from University Malaya.

Rali was Managing Director of Proton Parts Centre Sdn Bhd for 12 years, Chief Financial Officer of Proton Parts Centre Sdn Bhd for 10 years, Manager of Production Planning at Proton and Planning Superintendent at Dunlop Malaysia Industries Berhad. His expertise is in in making annual budgeting and finance alignment decisions.

Datu Dr. Michael Dosim Lunjew earned a Ph. D in Training Management/Human Resource Development in 1994 from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (now Universiti Putra Malaysia). He also was conferred a Datu honorific by the Sarawak State Government in 2006.

Datu Dr. Michael joined IGM Academy in 2016 as our Advisor cum Coach to upskill managers and entrepreneurs. He formerly was the Secretary General, Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (2005 – 2008). He altogether served 33 years in public service, beginning in 1975 as an officer at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

In 1980 Datu Dr. Michael was posted to the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) where he was a senior trainer until 1998. He later joined the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities in 2004 until he retired in 2008.
Since 2011, Dr. Dr. Michael served as Chairman of a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia (Malaysian Bourse).

Program Consultant

Zurina specialises in personnel development programmes including Leadership, Customer Service, Emotional Intelligence and PassionWorks!.

She holds a Masters in Philosophy from the University of Essex, UK, an MBA (fulltime) from University of Bath, UK, a Diploma in Management from the Malaysian Institute of Management and a Certificate in Training & Development from the Institute of Personnel Development, UK.

She has been a Consultant Trainer for Institut Pengurusan Global (IPG) since 2011, is a Certified PassionWorks! Trainer and Training Manager for Bank Simpanan Nasional.

She was an Officer at Standard Chartered bank for 19 years, lectured at Stamford College on Management and Business Communication, a freelance trainer in customer service, personal development, and communications. As a freelancer, some of her clients include BP Malaysia, RHB Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and MIDA.

Senior Trainer

Ding is a Senior Trainer at IGM Academy on Finance for Non-Finance Managers. He holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Economics and Diploma in Banking.

He currently is Managing Director of Desa Jelas Sdn Bhd, a Managing Director of Desa Jelas Sdn Bhd Managing Director of Desa Jelas Sdn Bhd Managing Director of Desa Jelas Sdn Bhd served as Senior Dealer (Treasury) at Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia and was Consultant/Trainer at Gemilang JV Services.

Ding is an Associate Fellow of the Asian Chartered Institute of Banking and is a Life Member of the Institute of Marketing Malaysia.

Senior Manager

Susan served with many organisations as a Secretary and joined IGM Academy in 2005. She now is the Senior Manager and Head of Administration at IGM Acadamy, where she is also responsible for after sales customer support, liaison with trainers, students, the HRDF and other relevant persons and organisations.
