Dr. Salihin Ramli Special Advisor on Academic & Training / Consultancy Services

Dr. Salihin has 38 years of corporate, consultancy, training & education services experience. He was an Accountant at Cold Storage, Financial Controller  of Philips Group, Raychem Malaysia, Executive Director of Public Banks’s Derivatives business, Group Executive Director of Idris Hydraulic Group, etc.  He left to manage his own consultancy practice and lecture in MBA on part-time basis to local and foreign universities. He has B.Econ from University Malaya, B.Commerce (Hons) from University of Windsor Canada, obtained his MBA from Southwestern Oklahoma State University USA and Doctrate in Business Administration from IMC UK and Northland Open University Canada.

Dr. Salihin Ramli is appointed as the Special advisor on academic and training cum consultancy services to Institute Global Management since 2001.

Professor Dr. Mohd Kamal Khir Director of Consultancy Services

Prof. Dr. Mohd Kamal is now the newly appointed Director of Consultancy Services at Institute of Global Management from July 2010.

He was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Institute of Bankers Malaysia (IBBM), a Professional and Educational Body for the banking and financial services industry in Malaysia and also the CEO of Malaysia banking Academy from 2005 to 2009.

He has over 35 years of management experience having held positions in a wide spectrum of industries such as finance, marketing, trading, manufacturing, multinational companies, government institutions, highway concessionaires, news industry and training establishment.  Dr. Mohd Kamal is a Mastertrainer, facilitator and a qualified Internal Quality Auditor and Lead Assessor Certified by Lloyds, UK and Portsmouth University, UK. He is an Alumni of Harvard Business School USA, University of Lincoln UK, National Institute of Public Admin (INTAN) Malaysia and Royal Military College Malaysia and adjunct professors to local universities etc.

KP Choong Director of Training Services

Mr KP Choong has joined Institute of Global Management  as the new Director of Training Services to Institute of Global Management overlooking the performance of PassionWorks™ and other corporate training services from July 2010.  He has had a “life-long” engagement with transformation through training originated in his early exposure to the field of training and development. 
Mr. KP Graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Economics (majoring in Business Administration) & an MBA from Oklahoma City University, USA He has extensive 35 years field and corporate exposure, rank & file, general management and board duties on various multi-nationals in the insurance sector (from agency work to Vice President in AIA Group , and the direct selling or multi-level marketing industry (distributor, leader to General Manager/CEO and Board appointment e.g. Shaklee.

Tuan Haji Zaharuddin Mahmud Senior Consultant / Trainer

Tuan Haji Zaharuddin graduated in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing England, Postgraduate Diploma in International Marketing from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Polytechnic, England and Master of Business Administration from Morehead State University, Kentucky, USA.

Tuan Haji Zaharuddin has over nearly 30 years of business and marketing experience in the food, air-conditioning, steel and the automobile industries.

Tuan Haji Zaharuddin joined the Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM) in 1988, was the Honorary Secretary of IMM in 1990, elected as the Vice Chairman in 1991 and subsequently elected as the Chairman in 1993.  As Chairman of IMM, he focused the Institute’s direction more toward Education which led to the revival of the Diploma in Marketing programme.  He also initiated the Diploma in Sales Management in 1993.

He was the General Manager of Emastulin Sdn. Bhd. in the 90’s and Manager at Hicom Bhd for the automobile industry in the 80’s. He became a Senior Consultant with IGM since 2010.

Lee Teck Meng Senior Consultant / Trainer

Mr. Lee Teck Meng, aged 43, holds a Masters in Business Administration from Canada. He also holds an Advanced Diploma, Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom, and an Advanced Diploma of Business andManagement Studies from Institutes of Swansea.
                                               
Mr. Lee has over twenty (20) years business experience in oleo chemical & biodegradable household detergent which he has created a household brand “ KLEENSO” since 2003.

He was elected as Secretary General of Small & Medium Industries Association of Malaysia since 2005.  He became Senior Consultant Trainer of IGM from 2009.

Paul Seah Consultant / Trainer

Paul Seah is a versatile and accomplished trainer, speaker, lecturer and management development consultant. He has more than twenty years of extensive experience in sales, HR management & development, and corporate development. He holds an MBA in entrepreneurial management and is a firm believer in continuous learning.  Paul also lectures on Leadership and Strategic HRM on an Australian MBA programs and is appointed as Consultant Trainer for IGM since July 2010.

Joseph Tan Consultant / Trainer

Joseph Tan possess 23 years of working and training experience.  He served in the capacity of Human Resources Manager and Training Manager. He is a graduate of Institute of Commercial Mgmt (UK) and MBA from an American University.  He is a certified Advanced Human Resource practitioner of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management. Joseph joined IGM in December 2009 as a Consultant Trainer.
